Afisha — Cinema Showtimes Aggregator
Meta-search for films, cinemas, showtimes, and prices across multiple sources, with maps and AI discovery

Afisha consolidates fragmented data from listings platforms, cinema chains, and independent cinemas into one database. Users find a film, compare showtimes and prices, choose a cinema on the map, and continue to the original source to buy a ticket. The service itself does not sell tickets.
Challenge
Cinema schedules are split across several services: one may miss a film, another a price or a specific showing. The task was to create one clear interface centered on the user's intent to find the right film rather than on an advertising storefront.
Approach
The home page combines city detection and selection, date controls, a large film search, an in-theaters carousel, and a catalogue of available showings. A map reveals nearby cinemas, while an AI assistant recommends films from a free-form request. Purchasing continues on the cinema or ticket-service site.
Outcome
Instead of juggling many tabs, the user follows one path: find a film, compare showtimes and prices, choose a cinema, and continue to purchase. Multiple data sources are unified in one catalogue, enhanced by maps and AI discovery.
